Nottinghamshire - Various Locations Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Waiting, Loading and Unloading
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS LOCATIONS)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) ORDER 2025 (M25-138)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:
a) Glebe View, Mansfield - For its entire length
b) Deepdale Road, Mansfield - For its entire length
c) Johnson Drive, Mansfield - For its entire length
d) Blenheim Close, Mansfield - For its entire length
e) Ellesmere Road, Mansfield - From its junction with Old Mill Lane for a distance of 40 metres in a south westerly direction.
f) Newlands Road, Mansfield - For its entire length
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading in the following length of road
a) Glebe View, Mansfield - For its entire length
b) Deepdale Road, Mansfield - For its entire length
c) Johnson Drive, Mansfield- For its entire length
d) Blenheim Close, Mansfield - For its entire length
e) Ellesmere Road, Mansfield - From its junction with Old Mill Lane for a distance of 40 metres in a south westerly direction.
f) Newlands Road, Mansfield - For its entire length
3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:00 Thursday 20th November, 2025 Until 18:00, Thursday 18th December, 2025 Inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
a) Glebe View, Mansfield - No diversion applicable
b) Deepdale Road, Mansfield - No Diversion applicable
c) Johnson Drive, Mansfield - No Diversion applicable
d) Blenheim Close, Mansfield - No Diversion applicable
e) Ellesmere Road, Mansfield - Old Mill Lane, - Clipstone Road West, - Ellesmere Road and vice versa.
f) Newlands Road, Mansfield - No Diversion applicable The Order will come into force on Thursday 20th November, 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
