Leicestershire - Multiple Traffic Notices

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

LUTTERWORTH ROAD, BURBAGE
TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 10/12/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow Severn Trent Water & their contractors to undertake installation of new apparatus & other associated works. No speed limit imposed by this order applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 09/12/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 nights to allow Network Rail & their contractors to undertake the removal of redundant monitoring equipment & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Coventry Rd, A5 J A47/B4666 R/bout, A5 from J A47/ B4666 R/bout to start of dualling South of Hinckley including R/bout, Hammonds Wy & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 28/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow Openreach & their contractors to undertake a pole replacement & other associated works.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Atterton Rd, Atterton Ln, Mythe Ln, Ratcliffe Rd, Carlyon Rd, A5 J B4111/B4116 R/bout, Watling St, A5 From J B4111/B4116 R/bout to J A444 including dualling, Atherstone Rd & vice versa.

The proposed diversion route will be via: High St, Malt Mill Bank, Stapleton Ln, Ashby Rd, Hinckley Rd, Mill St & vice versa.
