Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders:-

The Isle of Wight Council (Downend Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 5 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for one shift, between Monday 24 November 2025 and Wednesday 26 November 2025, or when the work has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Downend Road, Newport, for its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Drainage investigation.

The Isle of Wight Council (Park Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 6 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for two weeks between Monday 24 November 2025 and Friday 05 December 2025, or when the work has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Park Road, Ryde, for its entire length. The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Cycle track Closure) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one week, between Thursday 27 November 2025, and Thursday 04 December 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian, cyclist to proceed along Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport, Sandown, for its entire length. The Isle of Wight Council (Castle Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Road Closure and One-Way Restriction) Order No 2 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0930 and 1530 hours on Thursday 27 November 2025, or when the works has been completed, Castle Road will be closed for its entire length, on-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure.
