What is happening?
MARKET ST. WESTHOUGHTON TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
The Council will make an order, operative from 8am on 30 November 2025, to enable the Westhoughton Christmas Events to take place between approximately 8am and 7pm on that date. All vehicles not engaged in the event will be prohibited from proceeding on Market Street from Church St to Library St.
Alternative route will be via: Wigan Rd, Cricketers Way, Mill St.
The order will cease to have effect at 7pm on 30 November 2025 or on completion of the event, whichever first occurs.
