RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd Di-Ddosbarth a adwaenir fel Stryd Tyrner, Llanberis o’i gyffordd gyda’r Stryd Fawr gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol hyd at bwynt ger Rhif 2 Stryd Tyrner, Llanberis.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith ar ran Wales & West Utilities.

Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol ar y Stryd Fawr a throi i’r dde yn y gyffordd gyda Stryd Goodman. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol. Yn y gyffordd gyda Henry Street, troi i’r dde i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd orllewinol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 24ain o Dachwedd 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 12 diwrnod.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(UNCLASSIFIED ROAD KNOWN AS TURNER STREET, LLANBERIS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Unclassified Road known as Turner Street, Llanberis from its junction with the High Street travelling south westerly up to a point by No.2 Turner Street, Llanberis.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during works on behalf of Wales & West Utilities.

The alternative route is to travel south easterly on the High Street and turn right at the junction with Goodman Street. Travel on this road in a south westerly direction. At the junction with Henry Street, turn right to travel north westerly up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.

The Order comes into effect on the 24th of November 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 12 days.
