RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darnau hynny o’r Ffyrdd isod.
1. Ffordd Dosbarth III a adwaenir fel Ffordd Pontrug, Caeathro o gylchfan Caeathro gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol am bellter o oddeutu 50 metr.
2. Cylchfan Caeathro (A4085) o Ffordd Pontrug gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol hyd at Lôn Caeathro, Caeathro.
3. Ffordd Dosbarth III a adwaenir fel Lôn Caeathro, Caeathro o gylchfan Caeathro gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol am bellter o oddeutu 50 metr.
Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith ailwynebu.
Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol ar Ffordd Pontrug a throi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda’r A4086. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol.
Yng nghylchfan Cibyn (A487), cymryd yr allanfa 1af i deithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol ar yr A487 hyd at gylchfan Meifod. Cymryd yr allanfa 1af i deithio mewn cyfeiriad deheuol ar yr A4871. Yn y gyffordd gyda Lôn Caeathro, troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 24ain o Dachwedd 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 5 diwrnod.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(ROADS IN CAEATHRO)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along those lengths of roads noted below.
1. Class III Road known as Ffordd Pontrug, Caeathro from the Caeathro roundabout travelling north easterly for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
2. Caeathro roundabout (A4085) from Ffordd Pontrug travelling south westerly up to Lôn Caeathro, Caeathro.
3. Class III Road known as Lôn Caeathro, Caeathro from the Caeathro roundabout travelling south westerly for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during resurfacing works.
The alternative route is to travel north easterly on Ffordd Pontrug and turn left at the junction with the A4086. Travel on this road in a south westerly direction. At the Cibyn roundabout (A487), take the 1 st exit to travel south westerly on the A487 up to Meifod roundabout. Take the 1 st exit to travel southerly on the A4871. At the Lôn Caeathro junction, turn left to travel north easterly up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 24th of November, 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 5 days.
