What is happening?

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
THE STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) ORDER 2025

The Council of Staffordshire proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) The effect of these proposals is as follows:

TRO – 1001 The effect of the above order will be to reintroduce all static parking, waiting, loading and stopping restrictions currently enforced within the District of Newcastle-under-Lyme into a revised map-based format. There will be no material change to any of the operational specifications or dimensions of those restrictions.

Should you wish to make any observations on this proposal (whether you support or object to the proposal) you can submit these on the following website https://consultation.appyway.com/newcastle-under-lyme or in writing to Traffic Regulation Order Team, Staffordshire Council, Tipping Street Stafford ST16 2DH within 21 days of this notice. Any objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
