Wharf Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WHARF ROAD, PINXTON
WHEN: 10 December 2025 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Wharf Road, Pinxton at a point adjacent property No. 272 Wharf Road.
REASON: To facilitate telegraph pole renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wharf Road, Victoria Road, B6019 Town Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
