What is happening?

CITY OF WESTMINSTER ALLITSEN ROAD, ALMA SQUARE, EAMONT STREET, HAMILTON GARDENS AND LANARK ROAD THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (C ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be, in connection with the installation of tree buildouts, to:

(a) on the south-east side of Allitsen Road:

(i) shorten the residents’ parking place outside Henry House and Swallow House by 6.5 metres (1 space) at its south-western end;

(ii) extend the single yellow line waiting restrictions outside Henry House north-eastward by 3.2 metres;

(iii) introduce 3.1 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restricitions outside Henry House;

(iv) relocate the “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking place outside Park Mansions south-westward by 3 metres; and

(v) introduce 3.1 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restricitions outside the entrance to Nos. 9 to 16 Park Mansions;

(b) on the north-east side of the south-western arm of Alma Square, introduce 3.1 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions opposite No. 21, replacing a length of shared-use parking (1 space);

(c) on the south-west side of Eamont Street, introduce 3.1-metre lengths of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions replacing lengths of residents’ parking (3 spaces in total) at the following locations:

(i) adjacent to Nos. 62-71 Charlbert Court, Mackennal Street;

(ii) outside Nos. 72-81 Charlbert Court;

(iii) outside Nos. 92-101 Charlbert Court; and

(iv) outside Russell House;

(d) on the north-east side of the south-western arm of Hamilton Gardens, introduce 3.1 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions opposite No. 33, replacing a length of residents’ parking (1 space); and

(e) on the south-west side of Lanark Road, introduce 3.1-metre lengths of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions replacing lengths of residents’ parking (3 spaces in total) at the following locations:
(i) outside No. 123;
(ii) outside No. 129;
(iii) outside No. 139 and
(iv) outside No. 145.

3. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on whicheither the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at https://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3rd Floor, Westferry House, 11 Westferry Circus, London, E14 4HD, or by email to tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8180/ND, by 10th December 2025. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
