Nuthall Footpath No.13 - Temporary Prohibition
What is happening?
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(NUTHALL FOOTPATH NO.13) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) CONTINUATION NO.2 ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State Transport in pursuance of the powers conferred by Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 approves of The Nottinghamshire County Council (Nuthall Footpath No.13)(Temporary Prohibition) Order 2024 (which came into force on 20th May 2024 and was continued in force by a Continuation Order which came into force on 20th November 2024 and remains in force until 19th November 2025 inclusive) being extended and continuing in force until 19th November 2026 or until completion of the relevant works, whichever is the sooner.
The Order has the following effect:-
No person shall: -
(a) proceed on foot, in the following length of Footpath at Nuthall in the Borough of Broxtowe :-
Nuthall Footpath No.13 between its junction with the A610 and its junction with Nuthall Footpath No.12.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction there is no direct alternative route on public rights of way.
If the works are not completed within the above period, the Order may be extended for a longer period with the further approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
The prohibition is required to enable approved development to be carried out and in respect of the likelihood of danger to the public and damage to the footpath.
