What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (EDEN PARK ROUNDABOUT, STOCKPORT) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (REVOCATION) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time: Turnpike Crescent, North side; from its intersection with the eastern kerbline of Wilmslow Road to its intersection with the south western kerbline of A34 Eden Park Roundabout. Turnpike Crescent, South side; From a point 58 metres northeast of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Dearden Avenue to its intersection with the south western kerbline of A34 Eden Park Roundabout. Slip Road, North east bound, (Both sides); From its intersection with Turnpike Crescent to its intersection with A34. Traffic Island/A34 Eden Park Road Roundabout (Both sides); From its intersection with the south western kerbline of A34 Eden Park Roundabout in a south westerly direction for the full extent of the traffic island. Eden Park Road (North side); From a point 24 metres north east from its intersection with the north eastern kerbline of A34 Eden Park Roundabout to its intersection with the western kerbline of Hall Acres Lane. Eden Park Road (South side); From a point 24 metres north east from its intersection with the north eastern kerbline of A34 Eden Park Roundabout to its intersection with the western kerbline of Three Acres Lane. Revoke No Waiting At Any Time: Turnpike Crescent, North side; from its intersection with the eastern kerbline of Wilmslow Road for a distance of 495 metres following the kerbline in an easterly, then south easterly, then southerly, then easterly, then north easterly direction. Turnpike Crescent, South side; from a point 58 metres northeast of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Dearden Avenue for a distance of 158.5 metres in a north easterly direction following the kerb line.
