What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (SCHOOLS HILL, CHEADLE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (REVOCATION) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time: Schools Hill, East and South East side; from a point 5 metres south west from the projected north eastern kerbline of Turnfield Road for a distance of 105 metres in a southerly direction, and Schools Hill, West and North West side; from a point 19 metres north east from its intersection with the north eastern kerbline of Turnfield Road in a southerly direction to a point 62 metres south from its intersection with the southern kerbline of Southfield Gardens. 

The following will be revoked from The Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport (Southview Gardens, Cheadle) (Prohibition and restriction of Waiting) Order 2012: Revoke Schedule 1 Item 1 - Schools Hill, West Side; From a point 15 metres south of the intersection of the southern kerbline of Southfield Gardens to a point 19 metres north east of the north east kerbline of Turnfield Road. Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map, may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE.
