Blenheim Road, Cheadle Hulme - Prohibition Of Waiting And Revocation Order

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (BLENHEIM ROAD, CHEADLE HULME) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) AND (REVOCATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time Blenheim Road, East Side - From a point 10 metres north from the projected north western kerb line of Marlborough Avenue in a south easterly direction to a point 9 metres south east from the projected south eastern kerb line of Marlborough Avenue. 

Revocation of No Waiting Mon - Fri 8.30 to 4.30pm Blenheim Road, West side - From a point 10 metres south from its intersection with the southern kerb line of Sedgemoor Close in southerly direction to a point 10 metres north of the northern kerb line of Monmouth Road. 

Revocation of No Waiting at Any Time Blenheim Road, East Side - From a point 10 metres north from the projected north western kerb line of Marlborough Avenue in a south easterly direction to a point 9 metres south east from the projected south eastern kerb line of Marlborough Road. Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map may obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE.

Any person wishing to object to this proposed Order should write, specifying their grounds for objection, to the undersigned (or by email to traffc@stockport.gov.uk) on or before 17 December 2025 quoting reference ZLA142058.
