Gatley Road Eastbound - Introduced Temporary Left Turns
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (GATLEY ROAD EASTBOUND, GATLEY) (TEMPORARY LEFT TURN ONLY) NOTICE 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which introduced Temporary Left Turns Only at Gatley Road, Gatley, eastbound left turn only from Gatley Road on to Kingsway, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road. This Notice is issued to enable works to repair a gas leak. A diversion will be provided via; Kingsway, Wilmslow Road, and Manchester Road. This Notice does not apply to pedestrians. This Order will come into operation on19 November 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
