The Ridgeway, Nr Manorbier / St Florence - Temporary restrictions due to overhead cabling works
What is happening?
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order is necessary so that telecom underground and overhead cabling works can be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along that section of The Ridgeway, nr Manorbier / St Florence – from its junction with the C3055 road leading to Manorbier Train Station, east to its junction with the U6321 road leading to Whitewell Holiday Park.
It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 8th December 2025 for approximately 16 working days between 09:30hrs-15:30hrs. These works will be carried out on a rolling programme to minimise disruption.
The alternative route for traffic will be via C3055 road leading to Manorbier Train Station, Station Road, A4139 Lamphey to Penally road, C3184 road via Penally Grange Holiday Lodges, Holloway Hill and The Ridgeway.
The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
