What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)
(ELM GROVE ROAD, DAWLISH) (NO. 4)
ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order.
From 20/12/25 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 4/1/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: ELM GROVE ROAD, DAWLISH, (FROM NEAR NO 27 TO NEAR NO 15). The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ELM GROVE ROAD, EXETER ROAD, SANDY LANE, ELM GROVE DRIVE, ELM GROVE ROAD.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PHASE 3 OF SURFACE WATER SEPARATION WORKS.

Roads affected: WEST CLIFF ROAD, DAWLISH The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - TEIGNMOUTH HILL,TEIGNMOUTH ROAD, JOHN NASH DRIVE, OAK HILL & VICE VERCA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: MANHOLE CHAMBER.

ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY ONE WAY STREET
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 24/11/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 5/12/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a direction other than that indicated by the one way street traffic signs. Roads affected: OGWELL MILL ROAD, NEWTON ABBOT
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ONE WAY CLOSURE DIVERION BARTON DR - ASHBURTON RD - CERCOMBE VALLEY RD.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: WATER & HV INSTALLATION.
