Road) (Temporary Prohibition of
Loading and Waiting) (No.188) Order
2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City
Council intends to make the above Order under
Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 1st
December 2025 and the effect will be as
follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING
AND WAITING
BRAINTREE ROAD From outside No.15 to
No.27 Braintree Road.
HYTHE ROAD From its junction with
Wymering Lane to
Fairfield Square (outside
odd numbers).
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach cabling works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 1st December 2025 to 12th December 2025
or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
