What is happening?

NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL

STIRLING STREET, AIRDRIE (TEMPORARY NO WAITING AND NO LOADING) ORDER 2025

On 10 November 2025 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on event drop off and pick up) on the undernoted roads.

No Waiting or Loading at Anytime Except for Buses

Length of Road in the Region Side of the Road to Which of North Lanarkshire Restriction Applies

Stirling Street, Airdrie from a point east of the extended east kerb line of A89 Weavers Road, a distance of 50m Westbound or thereby, eastwards to the extended west kerb line of Wellwynd

The Order, which will only be operational when displayed by signs, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Wednesday, 26 November 2025 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Thursday, 18 December 2025.
