Station Road Lane, Wallsend - Temporary Restriction of Traffic To Sewer Repair Works

What is happening?

THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE
STATION ROAD LANE, WALLSEND TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Station Road Lane to the rear of number 254-248 Station Road.

An alternate route is available via Beech Grove, Woodbine Avenue, Hawthorn Grove.

The proposed temporary Order is required to carry out sewer repair works and will come into force on 1 December 2025 for a period not exceeding 6 days.
