(PAVEMENT PARKING EXEMPTION) ORDER 202x
NOTICE OF PROPOSALS
Angus Council hereby propose to make an Order under the Transport (Scotland) Act 2019 for the purpose of improving footway and carriageway accessibility for pedestrians, particularly vulnerable road users or those with mobility impairments. This Order proposes to exempt the pavement parking prohibition on: (1) north and east sides of Balfour Place, south side of Collier Street; south side of Maule Street, south side of Millar Street; both sides of Terrace Road, all Carnoustie; (2) north side of Henry Street; both sides of Kirk Wynd; south side of South Street, all Kirriemuir; (3) east side of A92, Marywell; and (4) southeast side of Milton Park, Monifieth. Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order, which, together with a plan showing the affected streets and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders or may be examined during normal office hours and without payment of fee at Angus Council, Reception of the Angus House, Silvie Way, Orchardbank Business Park, FORFAR, DD8 1AN. Any person may, within 28 days from 14 November 2025, object to the proposed Order by notice in writing to Director of Infrastructure, Angus Council, Angus House, Silvie Way, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar DD8 1AN or by email to Roads@ angus.gov.uk. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate, and the grounds on which they are made.
