What is happening?

REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
WEST DYKE ROAD LEVEL CROSSING, REDCAR (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Not less than 7 days herefrom the Council intends to make an Order the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the length of road specified below.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below. Access will be available to residents’ properties within the closure. Local diversions will be in operation.

The Order will come into operation at 00:05 hours on 15.2.26 and remain in operation for 18 months, although it is envisaged that the road will reopen at 06:20 hours the same day.

SCHEDULE

West Dyke Road Level Crossing, Redcar from the southern point of the railway crossing in a northerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
