What is happening?

EAST RENFREWSHIRE COUNCIL

(Eaglesham Road, Clarkston) Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road Order 2025

On the 7th November 2025 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Order has been promoted to prohibit vehicles parking on sections of Eaglesham Road (west side of carriageway: between properties nos.38 & 24; and east side of carriageway: from Arthur Place no.9 up to its junction with Cartsbridge Road), Clarkston, in order to facilitate the safe operation of new sewer connection works on or near the road, scheduled to be carried from Friday 12th December to Friday 19th December 2025.

The parking prohibition will be applied to sections of the road as and when required relative to the progress of the works and will apply to all vehicles with the exception of those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident.
