What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CHURCH STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road
Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles
from proceeding on Church Street between its junctions with
High Street and Graiseley Lane.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken
on 16th November 2025, between the hours of 08:00 and
17:00.
The diversion route is: High Street, Rookery Street & Graiseley
Lane.
The Order is required to facilitate a service alteration by Cadent
Gas.
