TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order:ORDER NO. MCC146586853:The City of Manchester (Various Roads, Hulme Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 unders14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Heald Placeand Moss Lane East. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a Crane Erection/Dismantle. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 18th November 2025 to 19th November 2025 and 25th June 2026 to 26th June 2026. The order shall come into operation on 18th November 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. Ifall necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of thatshorter period. Suspension of Parking - Suspend the operation of the designated parking place on Moss Lane East, Heald Place and Parkfield Street. The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate development works. It is expected that the work will be in progress between 18th November 2025 and 26th June 2026. The Order shall come into operation on 18th November 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum periodof eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.Head of Network Management Neighbourhood DirectorateTown Hall Manchester M60 2LA.
