What is happening?

GORCHYMYN CYNGOR SIR DINAS A SIR CAERDYDD (CYNNAL A CHADW BOLARDIAU) (CAU FFYRDD DROS DRO) 2025 

Ar 12 Tachwedd 2025, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn atal unrhyw gerbydau rhag defnyddio neu yrru ar hyd: 

• Stryd y Parc, Heol Scott a Stryd Havelock ar eu hyd 
• Heol y Porth o’r gyffordd â Stryd y Castell i’r gyffordd â Stryd y Cei

Bydd llwybr amgen ar gael i’r cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan yr Hysbysiad cau ffyrdd ar hyd Heol Ddwyreiniol y Bont-faen, Heol y Gadeirlan Isaf, Stryd Clare, Stryd Tudor a Stryd Wood. 

• Stryd Womanby, Plas y Neuadd a’r Gwter ar eu hyd. 
• Heol y Porth o’r gyffordd â’r Gwter i’r gyffordd â Stryd Wood

Bydd llwybr amgen ar gael i’r cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan yr Hysbysiad cau ffyrdd ar hyd Heol Ddwyreiniol y Bont-faen, Heol y Gadeirlan Isaf, Stryd Clare, Stryd Tudor, Stryd Wood a Stryd Havelock.

Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y briffordd, a disgwylir iddo ddod i rym ddydd Sadwrn 15 Tachwedd 2025 ac a fydd ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis. Enw’r Gorchymyn fydd “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Cynnal a Chadw Bolardiau) (Cau Ffyrdd Dros Dro) 2025”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (BOLLARD MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2025

On the 12th November 2025, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicles from using or proceeding along:

• Park Street, Scott Road and Havelock Street throughout their lengths

• Westgate Street from its junction with Castle Street to its junction with Quay Street The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be via Cowbridge Road East, Lower Cathedral Road, Clare Street, Tudor Street and Wood Street

• Womanby Street, Guildhall Place and Golate throughout their lengths

• Westgate Street from its junction with Golate to its junction with Wood Street

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be via Cowbridge Road East, Lower Cathedral Road, Clare Street, Tudor Street, Wood Street and Havelock Street.

The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near the highway and is expected to come into operation on Saturday 15th November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months. The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months.

The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Bollard Maintenance) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2025”.
