City Of Bristol - Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles For Works

What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL

(DELABERE AVENUE, FISHPONDS, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Delabere Avenue which extends from Colliers Gardens to Symington Road. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 12th January 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 12th January 2026 and 23rd January 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Delabere Avenue (part unaffected), Gill Avenue,
Ettricke Drive, Delabere Avenue (part unaffected) and vice versa

(LODGE HILL, SPEEDWELL, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Lodge Hill which extends from Charlton Road to Cottrell Avenue.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 7th January 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 7th January 2026 and 17th February 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lodge Hill (part unaffected), Lodge Road, Ingleside Road, Charlton Road and vice versa.

(ELM ROAD, BISHOPSTON, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Elm Road which extends from Oak Road to the common boundary line of No.1 and No.3 Elm Road.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 17th December 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 17th December 2025 and 19th December 2025).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Elm Road (part unaffected), Maple Road, Church Road, Oak Road and vice versa

(SYLVIA AVENUE, BEDMINSTER, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce, temporarily, south westbound one way traffic in that length of Sylvia Avenue from Bayham Road to St. Agnes Avenue.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 1st December 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restriction may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 1st December 2025 and 30th January 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: North eastbound vehicles – St. Agnes Avenue, Redcatch Road, Bayham Road
