Thornhill Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving, Waiting, Loading And Unloading
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(THORNHILL ROAD, HARWORTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) ORDER 2025 (BS25-331)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Harworth in the District of Bassetlaw.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road
a. Thornhill Road, Harworth - From its junction with Common Lane to its junction with Briar Court.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (both sides) (08:00 to 15:30) in the following length of road
a. Thornhill Road, Harworth - From its junction with Common Lane to its junction with Briar Court.
1. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
2. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 08:00 hours Wednesday 26th November 2025
Until 15:30 hours Monday 1st December 2025 Daily.
The Order will come into force on 26th November 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable VIA EM on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to carry out Large Bespoke Carriageway Patching and associated works.
