Various Roads, Birmingham - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Highway Maintenance Works
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, BIRMINGHAM) (201125A) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be;
(i) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along ALDRIDGE ROAD, OSCOTT between its junction with Queslett Road and its junction with Greenholm Road.
(ii) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along ALDRIDGE ROAD, KINGSTANDING between its junction with Greenholm Road and its junction with College Road.
(iii) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along ALDRIDGE ROAD, PERRY BARR between its junction with College Road and its junction with Church Road.
(iv) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along WALSALL ROAD, FOUR OAKS between its junction with Rosemary Hill Road and its junction with Streetly Lane.
(v) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along PERRY WOOD ROAD, PERRY BARR between its junction with Booths Farm Road and its junction with Calshott Road.
The temporary Order is required to enable highway maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by this Order will be signposted and access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 20th November 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
