Alder Road - Temporary Restriction of Traffic for Fibre Installation Works

What is happening?

THE COUNCIL OF, THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE

VARIOUS FOOTPATHS, WALLSEND (ALDER ROAD, CLAVERING STREET) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on various footpaths in Wallsend around Alder Road and Clavering Street.

Alternative routes will be indicated by on site signage.

The proposed temporary Orders are required for fibre installation works and will come into force on 24 November 2025 lasting until 30 December 2025.
