ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(King George Road, Horsforth, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because resurfacing works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the crescent of King George Road, Horsforth Ward, or the cul-de-sac commencing between property numbers 59 & 113. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 17 November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 19 December 2025.
The closure will be in place between 08:00 hours and 15:30 hours only, each day. G Moate
(Park Place, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because cranage works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Park Place, Leeds, between its junctions with King Street and Central Street. In addition it will be necessary to temporarily suspend the existing one-way system in place on Park Place between Central Street and Queen Street, to enable vehicles to pass in both directions. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: King Street, St Pauls Street & Queen Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Sunday 23 November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be take place during the following periods 1. From 20:00 hours on Sunday 24th November 2025 until 01:00 hours on Monday 25th November 2025 2. (Cliff Road & Rampart Road, Woodhouse, Leeds)
(Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because Active Travel related highway works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways, Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is to introduce: 1. A temporary one-way restriction on Cliff Road, Woodhouse; running in a northerly direction between its junctions with Woodhouse Lane and Woodhouse Street. 2. A temporary prevention of right turns by traffic travelling from Woodhouse Lane into Rampart Road and vice versa. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the above traffic management measures will be available via: Woodhouse Street, Rampart Road, Woodhouse Lane, Clarendon Road, Moorland Road, Royal Park Road, Queens Road, Chestnut Avenue, Victoria Road, Headingley Lane. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Thursday 13 November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Henconner Lane, Bramley, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because Northern Powergrid improvement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Henconner Lane, Bramley, Leeds in the Armley Ward, Farnley & Wortley Ward; between its junctions with Poplar Way and Queensthorpe Avenue. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Green Hill Road, Hill Top Road, Whingate, Tong Road, Pudsey Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Saturday 22 November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Boroughgate, Otley) (Temporary Disabled Parking Bay Suspension) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because cranage works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend the use of the Disabled Parking Bay situated on Boroughgate, Otley, between its junctions with Manchester Square and Garnett Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Sunday 23rd November 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Suspension & Prohibition of Use of Cycleway) Order:
Cookridge Street Christmas Event – 21 November to 31 December 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (holding of a Christmas Event on Cookridge Street) Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No Person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along that length of cycleway situated on Cookridge Street, Leeds, that runs between its s junctions with Great George Street and the Headrow. The above closure is intended to be in force from 06:00 hours on Friday 21 November 2025 until 23:59 hours on Wednesday 31 December 2025. N Gardiner

(Definitive Bridleway Micklefield No.8) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of potential danger to the public arising from bridleway creation works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed by foot, cycle or on horseback along Micklefield Bridleway No.8, from its junction with Pit Lane to the northern side of the Peckfield Level Crossing, in the Kippax and Methley Ward. A diversionary route will be available via Pit Lane, Great North Road and vice-versa. The Order is intended to come into force on Friday 5 December 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months. The closure will be in place 24 hours per day. The works are expected to be completed by 27 March 2026. Ref: TC10129
(Definitive Footpath Morley No. 51) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are to be undertaken to construct a new site entrance for a housing development under or near the under mentioned footpath, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed along Definitive Footpath Morley 51, from its junction with Loverose Way to the junction with Definitive Footpath Morley 43. A diversionary route will be available via Loverose Way, Gilhusum Road & Gelderd Road. (This route crosses private land and prior permission has been obtained from the landowner). The Order is intended to come into operation on 26 November 2025 and to remain in force 24 hours per day, for a maximum period of 6 months. Ref: TC10128
