(PART), KNOWN LOCALLY AS CALVES CROFT,
BETWEEN TEMPLE BAR AND PARK ROAD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough
Council intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to
prohibit any traffic from proceeding along Definitive Public Bridleway 55 Willenhall (Part), known locally
as Calves Croft, from adjacent to the northwestern curtilage of
the former Marren’s Transport site, to Temple Bar.
The alternative route for pedestrians affected by this order will
be:
• On a temporary footpath provided on the RK Transport
site Transport site and footway along Temple Bar.
The alternative route for horse riders and cyclists affected by
this order will be:
• On adopted highway along Park Road, Manor Close,
James Street, Thompson Street, Harper Street and onto
Temple Bar.
The order will come into effect on 25th November 2025 during
works directly adjacent to Bridleway 55 Willenhall. The order
will remain in force during construction works in accordance
with approved development of RK Transport, planning
references 21/1544 and 25/0630, or up to a maximum period
of 6 months, whichever is sooner.
It is anticipated that works adjacent to Bridleway 55 Willenhall
will be completed by the end of March 2025.
Closure during this period is necessary in the interests of
public safety during construction works directly adjacent to the
bridleway.
