U7030 LOW CASTLE TERRACE TO LONGBYRE JUNCTION GREENHEAD (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7030 Low Castle Terrace to Longbyre Junction Greenhead from its junction with Sustrans Route 72 Greenhead To Lonbyre heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 100 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th December 2025 until the 8th December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 7th December 2025 until the 8th December 2025 between 22:00 hours and 06:99 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th December 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C275 DIPTON HOUSE JUNCTION TO RIDING MILL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C275 Dipton House Junction to Riding Mill from its junction with U8094 Shepherds Dene Junction to Grey Court Junction heading in a north easterly direction for a distance of 1365 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 27th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 5th December 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C275, B6306, B6307, A695, and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6278 EDMONDBYRES TO CARTERWAY HEADS CONSETT (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6278 Edmondbyres to Carterway Heads Consett from its junction with B6278 (from B6306 Junction to County Boundary at Derwent Bridge) heading in a north easterly direction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th December 2025 until the 9th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th December 2025 until the 19th December 2025 between the hours of 07:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th January 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6278, B6306, C20a, C267, C265, A68 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U7087 WOODHEAD PARK FOOTWAY HALTWHISTLE (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U7087 Woodhead Park Footway Haltwhistle from its junction with U7078 Woodhead Lane heading in an easterly direction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 19th December 2025.
It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 12th December 2025 and that the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th December 2025.
There is no alternative route for pedestrian traffic.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
PARISH OF BLANCHLAND PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO 20 (TEMPORARY BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Blanchland Public Bridleway No 20, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Blanchland Public Bridleway No 20
From a point on the B6306 road 255 metres north of the Sewage Works in a general north-easterly and south-easterly direction for a distance of 315 metres to join Public Footpath No 28 on the northern bank of the River Derwent 725 metres east of the Sewage Works.
There is no alternative route available.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th December 2025 until the 29th January 2026.

C324 BELLISTER BANK AND C324 PARK VILLAGE TO BELLISTER BANK HALTWHISTLE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in the County of Northumberland:
C324 Bellister Bank from its junction with A69t Haltwhistle Bypass to Low House Farm heading in a southerly direction for its entire length.
C324 Park Village to Bellister Bank from its junction with C324 Bellister Bank heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 1200 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th December 2025 until the 9th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th December 2025 until the 19th December 2025 between the hours of 09:30–15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th January 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A69, A689, C323, C324 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C213 WARK TO BIRTLEY, BIRTLEY (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C213 Wark to Birtley from its junction with U5031 Threpwood to Pit House heading in a northwards direction for a distance of 81 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th November 2025 until the 28th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th November 2025 until the 21th November 2025 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 28th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C213, C216, C215 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U8293 ELVASTON ROAD HEXHAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8293 Elvaston Road Hexham from its junction with U8293 Gaprigg Lane heading in a southerly direction for a distance of 558 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 21st November 2025 until the 20th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 21st November 2025 until the 27th November 2025 between 09:00 hours and 16:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8293, C282, B6306, B6305 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C328 Featherstone Common to Redpeth Haltwhistle 266 metres north eastwards from junction with C327 Pinkings Cleugh Junction to Blenkinsopp heading further north eastwards for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th November 2025 until the 21st November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th November 2025 until the 18th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00–18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C328, C327, A69 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C291 Leadgate to Thornleygate Allendale 45 metres eastwards from its junction with U8032 Round Hill Junction to Quarry House Junction heading further eastwards for a distance of 120 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 19th November 2025 until the 25th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th November 2025 until the 21st November 2025 between the hours of 08:00–18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 25th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C291, U8032, U8030, C290 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 24th November 2025 until the 28th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th November 2025 until the 25th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00–18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 28th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C298, C20, Z00903, B6306 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

PARISHES OF GREYSTEAD AND WARK PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS NUMBERS 25 AND 35 (TEMPORARY PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Greystead Public Bridleway Number 25 and Parish of Wark Public Bridleway No 35, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Greystead and Wark Public Bridleways Nos 25 & 35
From a point 810 metres south-east of Little Dodd Hill in a general north-easterly and northerly direction for a distance of 2220 metres to the junction with Parish of Greystead Public Footpaths Nos 13 and 16 immediately north of the Clint Burn.
There is an alternative route available from a point 810 metres south-east of Little Dodd Hill in a general north-westerly direction for a distance of 1510 metres passing to the north of Little Dodd Hill then continuing over the forestry road in a general north-easterly direction for a distance of 3180 metres to join Parish of Greystead Public Bridleway No 21, 165 metres north-west of the Clint Burn.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th November 2025 until the 17th May 2026.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council, Neighbourhood Services in the interests of public safety to facilitate works to replace a bridleway bridge over the Clint Burn.

(WAITING, LOADING & PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED)
CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 VARIATION ORDER 29

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling have made the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 17th November 2025 will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing the following parking restrictions in Haydon Bridge:
There will be a goods vehicle only loading bay, with a 1-hour maximum stay and no return within 2 hours, on Ratcliffe Road.
There will be no waiting or loading at any time on sections of Church Street and Ratcliffe Road.
In addition, the effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 17th November 2025, will be to further vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by removing the following restrictions in Haydon Bridge:
A section of the no waiting at any time restrictions on Ratcliffe Road.
A section of the no waiting or loading at any time restrictions on Church Street and Ratcliffe Road.
The no waiting or loading restrictions applying Monday–Friday between the hours of 8:30–16:30.

A copy of the Order, together with the maps that form part of the Schedule to the Order and any other relevant documents, notices or Orders as appropriate as well as a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order are available to view or download on the NCC Website:
