Stanton Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
STANTON ROAD, ILKESTON
WHEN: 01 December to 02 December 2025 (19:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Stanton Road, Ilkeston, from the Jct. with First Avenue for approx. 50m north at the White Lion Square Roundabout.
REASON: To facilitate telecoms installation.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cavendish Road, Nottingham Road, White Lion Square.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
