Breach Road - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BREACH ROAD, HEANOR

WHEN: 28 November 2025 (09:30 to 14:30).
WHERE: Breach Road, Heanor between its Jct. with Mill Road and its Jct. with Meadow Gardens.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Chapel Street, Gillott Street, Ilkeston Road, Church Street, Hands Road, Laceyfields Road, Brookfield Way, Meadow Gardens and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
