Coach Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?

(PETER LANE, COACH ROAD, YEALAND CONYERS, LANCASTER CITY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of roads;
I. Coach Road, Yealand Conyers from its junction with Main Street to its junction with Peter Lane.
II. Peter Lane, Yeland Conyers from its junction with Coach Road to a point outside property known as Manor House Farm.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0930 hours until 1530 hours on Friday 21st November 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. Access for Emergency Services will be maintained. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.
5. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-
Peter Lane – Yealand Road – Hyning Lane – Main Street – and vice versa.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow telecoms pole test works to be carried out.
