Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 13th November 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY BG01, BROUGHTON GATE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2271)
The closures are necessary to enable O2 to carry out essential Telecom’s works for installation of new mast and cabinet.
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of redway:
Phase 1
24th November 2025 – 27th November 2025
Redway BG01, Broughton Gate. – Tanfield Lane to Newport Road.
Whilst the redway is closed the alternative route will be via Milton Rd, Whitehaven Close, Poppy Ave, Newport Road (Vice versa).
Phase 2
8th December 2025 – 12th December 2025
Redway BG01, Broughton Gate. – Tanfield Lane to Newport Road.
Whilst the redway is closed the alternative route will be via Milton Rd, Whitehaven Close, Poppy Ave, Newport Road (Vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STERLING CLOSE PERNNYLAND) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2271)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road. To allow Openreach to carry out fiber cabling works.
Sterling Close, Pennyland – Outside Number 31
The above closure will come into effect between 25th November 2025 – 28th November 2025 (Between 9:30am and 3:30pm each day).
Access will be maintained.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 11th November 2025, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHERITON (PART), FURZTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2258)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Cheriton, Furzton between number 10 and 15 to enable Openreach to access their underground structure for cabling work.
The closure will take effect from 17th to 20th November 2025 (between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 each day)
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there is no alternative route.
