Lily Lane, Flamborough - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
PART OF BOTH LILY LANE AND
WEST STREET, FLAMBOROUGH
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding along part of
Lily Lane from its junction with Butlers Lane to West
Street and part of West Street from its junction with
Water Lane northbound for approximately 50 metres
commencing 5 December 2025 between 09.30 hours
until 15.30 hours. The reason for the closure is to
enable the proposed part of both Lily Lane and West
Street, Flamborough sewerage works in the area, to be
carried out and completed in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that
the works will be completed within six hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is
via West Street, B1255 Church Lane, B1259 Lighthouse
Road, South Sea Road, Lily Lane and Church Street,
Flamborough CP, Bridlington North Ward.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but access
will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and
pedestrians.
The Order will commence 5 December 2025 and
continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen
months or until the works which it is proposed to
carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
