St Leonard's Road West - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of St Leonards Road West, Lytham St Annes from outside number 18 to outside number 57.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 2359 hours on Saturday 25th October 2025 until 2359 hours on Friday 7th November 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. Vehicular access for residents will be maintained whenever and wherever possible. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.
5. A diversion will be signed locally.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow emergency brickwork repairs at the railway bridge to be carried out Network Rail.

(TEMPORARY AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025
The Lancashire County Council (“the County Council”) in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (the Act), and of all other enabling powers, HEREBY makes the following Order:-
The Lancashire County Council (St Leonards Road West, Lytham St Annes, Fylde Borough) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025, is hereby temporarily Amended in that:
i. To amend Article 3 as follows:
The prohibition will be operative from 2359 hours on Friday 7th November 2025 until 2359 hours on Wednesday 19th November 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
This Temporary Amendment Order shall come into operation on Friday 7th November 2025 and may be cited as “The Lancashire County Council (St Leonards Road West, Lytham St Annes, Fylde Borough) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025 (Temporary Amendment) Order 2025”
