What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BOBBIN MILL HILL, LYNAM ROAD,
THE DIMPLE, FRITCHLEY

WHEN: 01 December to 02 December 2025.
WHERE: Bobbin Mill Hill, Lynam Road, Fritchley between its Jct. with Front Street to the entrance of Barncroft Farm 117m east of the Jct. with The Dimple. The Dimple, Fritchley at its Jct. with Lynam Road.
REASON: To facilitate telecom cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Chapel Street, Church Street, Fritchley Lane, Crich Common, The Common, B5035 Bowns Hill/Roes Lane/Park Head, Park Lane, Lynam Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
