OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(ASCOTT, MILTON AND

SHIPTON-UNDER-WYCHWOOD PARISHES)

(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order – in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council – is to extend the existing 20mph speed limit at Upper Milton southwards by approximately 460 metres, to a point just north of the crossroads junction with the minor road between Fifield and the A361, replacing the existing 60mph National speed limit in the process.

Additionally, administrative amendments will be made to the Order to ensure the scheduled speed limits reflect those that have been previously proposed, approved & implemented – with no changes to the currently signed limits on-the-ground.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Ascott, Milton and Shipton-Under-Wychwood Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2024 will be revoked/replaced as required.
