U3139 LEAZES STREET AMBLE

U3139 BROOMHILL STREET AMBLE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Amble in the County of Northumberland.

•    U3139 Leazes Street Amble from its junction with Lawson Street heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 295 metres.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Percy Street, Dilston Terrace, Bridge Street, George Street, Lawson Street and vice versa or Percy Street, Dilston Terrace, Bridge Street, Queen Steet, Coquet Street and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

•    U3139 Broomhill Street Amble from its junction with Leazes Street heading in a northerly direction for a length of 140 metres.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Harbour Road, Ladbroke Street, Newburgh Street and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 1st May 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 5th December 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st May 2026.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U1076 HIGHBURN HOUSE JUNCTION TO

HUMBLETON VILLAGE WOOLER

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1076 Highburn House Junction to Humbleton Village Wooler from its junction with the U1076 Humbleton Village Road heading in an easterly direction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 9th December 2025 until the 19th December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th December 2025 until the 10th December 2025 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U1076, A697, C50 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U3036 DEANMOOR TO SHILBOTTLE NEW LINK ROAD

SHILBOTTLE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3036 Deanmoor to Shilbottle New Link Road Shilbottle from its junction with C94 Hitchcroft Junction to West End heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 1500 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 9th December 2025 until the 5th January 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th December 2025 until the 10th December 2025 between the hours of 09:30-15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th January 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U3036, A1, C94 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

C69 CHATHILL MAIN ROAD CHATHILL

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C69 Chathill Main Road Chathill 14 metres north eastwards from its junction with Station Cottages heading in a north easterly direction for a distance of 28 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 22nd November 2025 until the 23rd November 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd November 2025 until the 23rd November 2025 between the hours of 23:00 and 08:30.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C69, B1340, B6347 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C138 BENRIDGE HAGG JUNCTION TO

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C138 Benridge Hagg Junction To West Moor Junction from its junction with

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

C141 Wingates Moor Junction To West Moor Junction heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 320 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 24th November 2025 until the 1st December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th November 2025 until the 25th November 2025 between the hours of 08:30 & 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st December 2025. An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C138, U6022, C136, C141 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3053 Rugley Road Alnwick from its junction with road from U3053 Rugley Junction to Access Road Hobberlaw Farm heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 1060 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 18th November 2025 until the 28th November 2025

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th November 2025 until the 19th November 2025 between the hours of 08:30-16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 28th November 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U3053, B6341, C92 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U3124 ST GEORGES CRESCENT VICTORIA CRESCENT

(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U3124 St Georges Crescent Victoria Crescent footway in Alnwick from it’s junction with Victoria Crescent heading in a westerly direction for a length of 72 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 28th November 2025 until the 5th December 2025

An alternative route will be available for use via St Georges Crescent, Lindisfarne Road, Swansfield Park Road, Victoria Crescent Victoria Terrace and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

PARISH OF PEGSWOOD PUBLIC FOOTPATH No 7

(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Pegswood Public Footpath No 7, in the County of Northumberland. The route is described as follows:

Pegswood Public Footpath No 7

From a point 35 metres east of number 65 Beaumont Court on the western side of the railway underpass in a general south-easterly direction for a distance of 60 metres under the railway bridge to a point 110 metres southeast of number 65 Beaumont Court. There is no alternative route available.

The Order is to be effective from the 20th November 2025 until the 21st November 2025.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 11

(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Widdrington Station & Stobswood Public Footpath No 11, in the County of Northumberland.

The route is described as follows:

From a point immediately north of number 55 Charles Drive in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 275 metres to join the C119 Road (Grange Road) immediately south of the junction with the B1337 road (Grangemoor Road).

There is an alternative route available from a point immediately north of number 55 Charles Drive in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 170 metres along Charles Drive, then continuing along Charles Drive in a general north-easterly direction for a distance of 190 metres to join the C119 Road (Grange Road) immediately south-east of The Surgery. The Order is to be effective from the 19th November 2025 until the 19th May 2026.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 16A

(MORPETH CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON 2025)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council

(“the Council”), in exercise of its powers as the local traffic authority under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and all other enabling powers, has made on the 5th November 2025 the Northumberland County Council (Morpeth Christmas Light Switch On 2025) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025 (“the TTRO”). The Council has made the TTRO for the purposes of facilitating the holding of Morpeth Christmas Light Switch On 2025 (“the Event”) by prohibiting traffic on the A192 Bridge Street in Morpeth from the roundabout at its junction with road over Telford bridge to Newgate Street for a length of 245 metres (“Road One”) and by imposing a restriction of no waiting and loading at any time except for taxis on the A192 Newgate Stret west side from no.7 Newgate Street to no.13 Newgate Street (“Road Two”) (Road One and Road Two shall together be known as the Road).

The TTRO shall come into force at 3:00 hours on the 15th November 2025 and will remain in force until 20:00 hours on the 15th November 2025, subject to the provisions of section 16B of the Act.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Newgate Street, Manchester Street, Wellway, Dacre Street, Dark Lane, Damside and vice versa in Morpeth and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

All restrictions on the Road will be sign-posted and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary.

Nothing in the TTRO shall apply to:

a.  Any activities taking place on the Road related to the organisation and holding of the Event;

b.  Anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police officer or a Duly Authorised Officer of the Council.

c.  Any vehicle being used by, or for the purposes of, the emergency services;

d.  Any vehicle being used by or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker (e.g. the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which requires vehicles to be brought onto the Road); or

e.  Pedestrian access to any premises adjoining the Road.
