Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Moor Lane, Walton-in-Gordano, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

Date coming into Force: 27 January 2026

Ref: SW25.26-211

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for the clearance of BT duct blockages.

This order will become operative on the 27 January 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 7 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Schedule – Moor Lane from opposite Home Farm Cottage to opposite entrance to North Moor Lane.

Kenmoor Road, Yatton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

Date coming Into Force: 29 January 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for a safety pole test. This order will become operative on the 29 January 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Schedule – Kenmoor Road from junction with Claverham Drove to outside Barberry Farm.

Final Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Footpath LA20/8, Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, Nailsea, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians Order 2025

Date Coming Into Force: 12 November 2025

Ref: Footpath LA20/8

Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the length of footpath specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work arranged by North Somerset Council relating to the erection of scaffolding necessary for the replacement of the roof which has caused concerns for public safety when using the Public Right of Way. This order will become operative on the 12 November 2025 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Schedule – An alternative route will be signposted taking users around the northern edge of the building.
