DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn cynnal achlysur rhoi goleuadau Nadolig ymlaen.
Cau Ffordd Dros Dro:
Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau Stryd y Taf o’i chyffordd â Stryd Traws y Nant hyd at y Stryd Fawr a’i chyffordd â Heol Sardis (gan gynnwys Lôn Penuel, Heol y Weithfa Nwy, Maes Dirwest, Stryd y Farchnad, Stryd yr Eglwys a Stryd y Felin).
Mae llwybr amgen ar gael ar hyd Stryd Traws y Nant, Heol Gelliwastad, Stryd Catrin, System Gylchu Heol Sardis a Heol Sardis i ben deheuol y man cau.
Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, i gerddwyr ac i eiddo.
Mae disgwyl i’r ffyrdd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau a’r amseroedd canlynol, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau:-

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(VARIOUS STREETS, PONTYPRIDD)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the Christmas Lights switch on event.
Temporary Road Closure:
The effect of the Order will be to close Taff Street, from its junction with Crossbrook Street through to High Street and its junction with Sardis Road (including Penuel Lane, Gas Road, Temperance Place, Market Street, Church Street and Mill Street)
An alternative route is available via Crossbrook Street, Gelliwastad Road, Catherine Street, Sardis Road Gyratory and Sardis Road to the southern end of the closure.
Access will be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians and to premises.
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Between 11am – 9pm on 21st November 2025
