What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(WINDERMERE ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Windermere Road in both directions from its junction with Codsall Road to its junction with Pendeford Avenue.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 20 November 2025 until 3 December 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30.
The diversion route is: Pendeford Avenue, Codsall Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works by CWC Highway Maintenance.
