What is happening?

BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – COUNTY OAK AVENUE, BRIGHTON

  1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 5 November 2025 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

    The following will only be in force as and when signed:-

    (a) The temporary closure of County Oak Avenue, Brighton from its junction with Carden Hill to its junction with Crabtree Avenue.

  2. The Order is necessary to allow deliveries of large items to a development site.

  3. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.

  4. This Order comes into force on 12 November 2025 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
