(HIGH STREET & HALL STREET, INNERLEITHEN) (TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (High Street & Hall Street, Innerleithen) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:30 on 11 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 15:30 on 12 November 2025. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.

When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the following roads in Innerleithen:

(i) the A72 High Street, from outside Cleikim Mill to number 90 High Street; and

(ii) Hall Street, from the junction with the A72 High Street to outside number 6 Cleikim Mill, Hall Street.

A temporary four way traffic lights system shall be in operation.
