Proposed Speed Tables

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in pursuance of section 90 of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to construct road humps at the locations described in the Schedule to this Notice

  2. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

  3. Further information may be obtained from the Traffic and Engineering division – telephone number (020) 8871 8204.

  4. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

Location of Proposed Speed Tables

  • Raised table at Balham Park Road junction with St James’s Drive, approximately 12m in length, with a height of 75mm and ramps with a gradient of 1:10

  • Raised table at Balham Park Road junction with Nottingham Road, approximately 3.8m (widest point) 2.1m (mid point), 1.2m (narrowest point), with a height of 75mm and ramps with a gradient of 1:10

PROPOSED WAITING RESTRICTIONS

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the following Order under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

    • *The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. ) Order 202

  2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce lengths of double yellow lines (“no waiting at any time”) in the following locations: –

    a) Around the junction of Balham Park Road and St James’s Drive;

    b) Around the junction of St James’s Drive and Nottingham Road;

    c) Outside No. 76 Balham Park Road.

  3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

  4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
