ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14
AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
KENDAL AVENUE SOUTH & NORMAN AVENUE, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Kendal Avenue South and Norman Avenue, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Kendal Avenue South will be closed at its junction with Purley Oaks Road.
b) Norman Avenue will be closed at its junction with Purley Oaks Road.
3. During the closures the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below.
Kendal Avenue South Closure:
• Eastbound traffic on Purley Oaks Road via Purley Oaks Road, Penwortham Road, Victoria Avenue, Kendal Avenue South and vice versa.
• Westbound traffic via Purley Oaks Road, Norman Avenue, Victoria Avenue, Kendal Avenue South and vice versa.
Norman Avenue Closure:
• Eastbound traffic on Purley Oaks Road via Purley Oaks Road, Kendal Avenue South, Victoria Avenue, Norman Avenue. And vice versa.
• Westbound traffic pre-diverted via Kendal Avenue South, Victoria Avenue, Norman Avenue and vice versa
4. The Order will come into operation on 06 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within thirty-one days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction will not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SELSDON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a rail bridge inspection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Selsdon Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Selsdon Road will be closed between its junction with Chelsham Road and the entrance to Huws Gray Buildbase, Selsdon Goods Yard, Selsdon Road.
3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via Selsdon Road, St Peters Road, Coombe Road, Coombe Lane, Gravel Hill, Selsdon Park Road, Addington Road and Upper Selsdon Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 09 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SUSSEX ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a detailed bridge inspection of rail bridge SCU1/494, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Sussex Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Sussex Road will be closed between its junctions with Moreton Road and the north to south arm of Sussex Road.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below.
• Westbound – via Sussex Road, Selsdon Road, Croham Road, and Dornton Road.
• Eastbound – via Moreton Road, Croham Road and Selsdon Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 11 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed overnight from 10pm to 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BINGHAM ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of an entry treatment and kerb and footway works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic movements and parking in Bingham Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the works are taking place:
a) Bingham Road will be closed between its junction with Shirley Road and the common boundary of Nos. 180 and 182 Bingham Road.
b) Parking within the closure area will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.
3. The Order will come into operation on 24 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 07 December 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
4. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Shirley Road and reversed.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
(c) any vehicle involved in carrying out the specified works.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
DINGWALL ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to the kerb and footway and the construction of central dividing islands, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Dingwall Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) The cycle lane and footway on the west side of Dingwall Road will be closed between its junctions with Lansdowne Road and George Street from 20 November 2025 for approximately ten weeks.
b) The cycle lane and footway on east side of Dingwall Road will be closed between its junctions with Lansdowne Road and George Street from 06 January 2026 for approximately four weeks.
c) The carriageway of Dingwall Road will be closed between its junctions with Lansdowne Road and George Street from 09 February 2026 for approximately two weeks.
3. During the footway closures, pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the cycle lane, and cyclists will also be required to dismount and use the pedestrian walkway. During the full closure of Dingwall Road, the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below.
• General traffic diversion: Via Dingwall Road, Sydenham Road, Wellesley Road, Croydon Underpass, Park Lane, Fairfield Roundabout (4th Exit), and Park Lane.
• Cycle diversion: Via George Street, Altyre Road, Hazeldean Road, Addiscombe Grove, Addiscombe Road, George Street, North End, Poplar Walk, and Bedford Park.
4. The Order will come into operation on 20 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further work is required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
(c) a vehicle involved in conducting the said work.
