What is happening?

The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin A41 Bloomsbury Sc Boundary To Chester Road, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in order to undertake highway improvement works. The order becomes operational from the 17/11/25 between the hours of 19:00pm and 05:00am. The following road is affected: A41 Bloomsbury Sc Boundary To Chester Road, Newport from its jcn with B4379 From Lilyhurst Rd Jcn To Jcn A41 to its jcn with Forton Rd Rbt.
The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 3/12/25.
