What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(DELHURST AVENUE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Delhurst Avenue in both directions from its junction with Grosvenor Road to outside property 94.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 17 November 2025 until 21 November 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Dovedale Road, Grosvenor Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works by CWC Highway Maintenance.
